I cannot say enough good things about Durand Toyota Ford. They went above and beyond to make our deal go through. Durand not only had a couple of great vehicles in stock to choose from - the vehicles were clean, in great shape, priced well, and the staff worked their butts off to make the deal go through.
We had been told by other dealerships we had a "difficult situation". We were hoping to trade a leased vehicle in for some equity towards our purchase of a used vehicle. We were told by every dealer we went to (two of which were authorized Ford lease return dealers) that trying to "trade-in" a lease for the equity in it to put towards another vehicle was difficult, involved a lot of paperwork, not worth it, they couldn't do it, etc. etc. No one wanted to deal with our lease - everyone else told us it was better to either buy it out on our own or turn the lease in at the end of the term and make our new vehicle purchase a separate deal.
Dani Smith, our sales rep, was really nice, not pushy at all and knew their inventory well. Jim, the finance manager, was creative, easy to work with and jumped through many hoops in the financing process. Chad, the sales manager, also super nice and not pushy, did everything in his power to get us into the vehicle we wanted at a payment we could afford.
Our original plan was really to get into an older, lower priced vehicle, but thanks to all the hard work by the folks at Durand Toyota Ford we were actually able to buy our "dream" vehicle! Despite the fact that they are 80 miles from our home - they have made a customer for life.
Oh, and by-the-way, the "trade-in" of our lease - 1 signature on 1 piece of paperwork, plus and odometer statement (that needs to be done on every single vehicle sale). Geez, that was hard.
